The hunt is still on for a couple of people who probably don’t know they’ve won big.

Two members of a 10-strong group still haven’t come forward to collect their prizes, after they won a combined $1.42 million almost two weeks ago.

The Queenslanders were part of a store syndicate, called The Big One number 2, that held a division one winning entry in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4287.

Shares into the syndicate were sold at Cotton Tree News, 1/9 King Street, Maroochydore

While many of the syndicate members registered their entries to a player card, others may be yet to discover they’re part of the winning group.

Officials from The Lott urged anyone who purchased an entry in the weekend’s draw to check their ticket.

“Hopefully, the remaining two syndicate members are aware of their good fortune and will be coming forward to claim their prize soon,” the Lott & Keno’s Matt Hart said.

“Those eight syndicate members who have already submitted their Prize Claim Form can look forward to receiving their prize money from Monday.

“As always, we urge players to check their tickets.

“If you think you’re part of this winning group, contact us immediately on 131 868 to start the prize claim process.”

The winning numbers were 6, 34, 16, 37, 42 and 35, while the supplementary numbers were 18 and 40.

Cotton Tree News owner Leigh Grandy said the syndicate had been running for about three years.

“We love any big win, but the big syndicate wins are our favourite,” he said.

“We wish our syndicate members all the best with their prize.”.

The beachside resident had just returned from grocery shopping when an official from The Lott called to reveal the life-enhancing news.

“I’m in so much shock. I’m shaking,” she told the official.

“I just walked through the door after going grocery shopping. I didn’t expect to pick up the phone to this.

“This is definitely the most I’ve ever won.

“It’s come at the most perfect time.

“As a single mother, you have your ups and downs, so this has really changed my life.

“I’m going to pay down some bills and live a bit more comfortably!”

Her winning entry of five random numbers was purchased online at thelott.com.
