Kawana Carols by the Beach
Kawana Carols by the Beach is Kawana Nippers’ major fundraiser of the year. This is an afternoon and evening of free live entertainment from local groups and professional singers, with food vans on site. Santa also drops by for a visit and an amazing fireworks finale.

ABBA and the Bee GeesÂ
ABBA Re-Bjorn and The Ultimate Bee Gees have joined forces for a one-off disco night in a showcase spectacular. Collating five decades of super hits from the hitmakers in one two-and-a-half-hour high-octane show, the ABBA and The Bee Gees Show has been hailed as the ultimate night of entertainment. Hear all the hits that will be forever etched in our memories such as ‘Dancing Queen’, S”tayin’ Alive”, “Knowing Me Knowing You”, “Massachusetts” and many more.

Pioneer play
Head to Bankfoot House and see what life was like for the pioneers. Learn to turn cream into butter, wash clothes with muscle power, and how to make your own fun without any screens.

Darren Coggan’s Christmas
It’s time to “deck the shed with bits of wattle” and join award-winning performer Darren Coggan as he celebrates the joy of being Home For Christmas, through a collection of songs and stories that embrace the festive spirit of Christmas in Australia. Coggan is one of Australia’s most exciting and diverse artists. He is considered a masterful storyteller with a knack of weaving fascinating and perceptive tales through his songs.

Salty Saturdays
More than just a market, Salty Saturdays is an event for locals and visitors to come together and celebrate Coolum culture and community. Salty Saturdays are held on the second and fourth Saturday of each month with live music, free entertainment, food and local artisans.

Organising ChaosÂ

The Festive Garden
Experience The Festive Garden— at the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden. The gardens will come alive with lighting displays, roving entertainment, Santa and his elves, story time with a reading of The Night Before Christmas, The Grinch Live Christmas Show on stage as well as a performance by the Sunshine Statesmen Barbershop Chorus, plus food trucks and more.

Caloundra Christmas Street Party
Families have been invited to bring a picnic rug and enjoy the festivities at a street party that will include a Christmas Twilight Market, twilight shopping, giveaways, live stage performances and music, roving entertainment, kids activities, face painting and food trucks. 4 Ingredients author and Caloundra identity Kim McCosker will host the event and will introduce live music performances by Caloundra State High School, Caloundra State Primary School, Meridan State College, Aussie World Christmas, Caloundra Chorale, Golden Beach State School and Sunshine Coast Performing Arts College. The free community event will be provided by Sunshine Coast Council, Downtown Caloundra Taskforce and The Caloundra Chamber of Commerce.

Buderim Community Carols
Buderim Community Carols heralds the beginning of Christmas celebrations and this year’s event is set to be better than ever. The evening will be full of opportunities to singalong with performances from the Buderim Mountain State School Choir, Sunshine Coast Youth Orchestra, Buderim Youth Theatre and the Elite Dance Institute. Bring your chairs or rugs and enjoy the Buderim Scout’s sausage sizzle or treats from other community organisations, including fairy floss from the Buderim Foundation, Popcorn from Buderim Mountain State School P&C, baked treats from the Buderim Uniting Church and ice blocks from the Buderim vPalmwoods Heritage Railway team. All these volunteer organisations will be raising funds for their particular charities. Safeflame candles and other fun products will also be available for purchase.

Funny Coast Comedy
Funny Coast Comedy is bringing the funny to the Sunny Coast, with world-class comedians, hilarious shows, comedy workshops and corporate events.
