This has only been discovered in a handful of cans, but as a precautionary measure our product recall team jumped on this with food safety authorities to execute our first-ever product recall.
“In affected cans, there may be higher levels of alcohol than what is indicated on the can label, as well as higher levels of carbon dioxide, which may result in can seams failing. Even though the quantity of beer that could be potentially affected by this issue is extremely low, we take the quality and safety of our products very seriously.
“Your Mates apologises to our consumers for any inconvenience caused by this recall and are offering a full refund or replacement on affected products. We thank our loyal customers for purchasing our beers and are fully committed to ensuring industry-best quality standards in everything we create.
“For more information please contact our product recall team at the brewery directly on (07) 5329 4733 or info@yourmatesbrewing.com.”
